Three Leading Companies Join Forces to Discuss Sustainable Plastic Waste Management, Aiming for a Closed-Loop Recycling System

On May 20, 2025, representatives from three leading organizations—Ritta Co., Ltd., Siamese Asset Public Company Limited, and SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited—held a joint meeting at the SCG 100th Anniversary Building on Siam Cement Road, Bang Sue District, Bangkok. The purpose of the meeting was to exchange ideas and establish concrete collaborative guidelines for sustainable plastic waste management.
The meeting participants included Ms. Phetshrat Phetdee, General Manager; Mr. Suparb Kanchan, Assistant Co-Chief Operating Officer; and Mr. Suriyan Singhholn, Assistant Vice President of Standard Management Systems from Ritta Co., Ltd.; Mrs.Ratchakorn Tanadatewat, Managing Director from Siamese Asset PCL; and from SCG Chemicals PCL, Ms. Roejarek Kanjanawarut, Circular Feedstock Manager, and Mr. Chutchai Chaisingthong, Senior Circular Feedstock Executive.
The objective of the meeting was to collaboratively explore strategies for reducing waste and carbon dioxide emissions generated by the organizations’ operations. The main topic of discussion was “Closed-Loop Recycling”—a process in which used materials are reprocessed and transformed into the same or similar products. This approach helps reduce the use of virgin resources and promotes sustainable material circulation.
This meeting marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration among the three companies, with a shared goal of creating an environmentally friendly circular economy system that could potentially be scaled up and adopted by other business sectors in the future.
